我在使用TortoiseGit时在Windows上得到了这个错误。重新安装Git for Windows，并通过重新运行第一次开始向导告诉TortoiseGit Git .exe的路径，解决了这个问题。

在我的例子中，git——exec-path指向正确的路径，git-remote-https存在，但没有执行权限。所以chmod +x git-remote-http修复了这个问题。
